Pastoral Care Associate

Pamela was born and raised in Calgary. Ministry is her third calling. Her first was nursing; she is a graduate of the Holy Cross School of Nursing. Pamela graduated from Vancouver Vocational Institute to answer her second calling, dental hygiene. In 2012 she was ordained to the United Church of Canada and served Strathmore United Church until she retired December, 2023. 

Between educational endeavors and employment Pamela has lived in Calgary, Strathmore, Trochu and Edmonton, AB, Burnaby and Ashcroft, BC and Kincaid, SK. 

In her spare time she enjoys gardening, cycling, walking her dog, and travelling. Pamela is pleased to be serving as the Pastoral Associate, part-time at Varsity Acres Presbyterian Church.
